Nest Theory is committed to delivering high-quality interior design services with transparency and professionalism. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which clients may cancel services or request refunds, depending on the stage of engagement and nature of the project.


1. Consultation Fees

  • All consultation and site visit fees are non-refundable once the appointment is confirmed.
  • If canceled at least 48 hours in advance, the appointment may be rescheduled once without penalty.
  • No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours are subject to full charge.

2. Design Services

Interior design is a creative and time-intensive process. Refunds are governed by the stage of work:

  • Before design work begins: A partial refund may be issued, minus administrative and booking fees.
  • After design work has commenced (e.g., layout planning, moodboards, 3D renders): No refund is applicable for completed work.
  • Client-initiated discontinuation: Refunds may be considered at Nest Theory’s discretion, based on effort invested and deliverables completed.

3. Custom Orders and Procurement

Nest Theory often works with third-party vendors to source custom furniture, decor, and materials.

  • Once a custom order is placed, it is non-cancellable and non-refundable.
  • This includes modular components, soft furnishings, and bespoke items.
  • In case of manufacturing defects, Nest Theory will assist in warranty claims or vendor coordination.

4. Turnkey Project Cancellations

For full-service interior projects, cancellation terms vary by stage:

5. Refund Eligibility and Process

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the official Nest Theory contact email.
  • Supporting documentation (e.g., invoices, photos, communication records) may be required.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.
  • A formal confirmation will be issued via email.

6. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

Nest Theory may consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis for:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Natural disasters or government mandates
  • Legal obligations or family emergencies
  • Technical issues affecting virtual consultations

Documentation may be requested to support exemption claims.


7. Modification and Rescheduling

  • Clients may request appointment or service modifications up to 48 hours before the scheduled time.
  • Requests within 48 hours may be accommodated based on availability and may incur additional charges.
